On September 6-8, 2021, the Iberian Society for Medieval Philosophy (Sociedad de Filosofía Medieval – SOFIME) will hold at the Faculdade de Letras – Universidade do Porto, Portugal, its 8th International Congress, under the main subject De cognitione. The submission period for paper proposals is open from now until March 31st, 2021. The evaluation of proposals will be released the 31st April 2021. The general topic of the congress is the concept of cognition in its different aspects in medieval philosophy and in all of its traditions from 4th to 17th Century (Greek, Latin, Arabic, Hebrew, vernaculars).
The congress will be hybrid (in person and online). Only registered participants giving a paper will be accepted to participate in person. Registration must be confirmed online by 30 June 2021 using the online platform: https://sofime.sci-meet.org/. The program will be published by the end of July.
